Where’s Wally ?
The answer is usually…..beside you. Wally loves his people and is the most sociable hound you will meet. He loves to be part of the action whether that’s having his one on one time with you or in the middle of a party.
Wally can’t hide his pleasure at meeting people and other dogs on his walks. He is very curious and likes to see what’s going on. Wally will zig zag a little on his walks, having a sniff, checking out interesting things on the footpath, stopping to greet humans and the occasional pee. You won’t get anywhere fast.
In the home, Wally is a breeze. He is toilet trained and not phased by any noises. He likes his time on his bed hanging out with his humans watching some TV or keeping you company while you are at the computer. He will follow you into the yard to do some gardening too.
Toys are Wally’s big discovery in foster care. He loves his squeaky toys and will toss them around, sometimes catching them himself. He has a big selection in his foster home. One favourite is his cuddle pillar which he takes to his bed for a bit of a smooch.
Wally also loves the car and rides happily looking forward to his next adventure. He does still need a little help getting in. He will put up his front paws up but needs a bit of a nudge to get right in.
Wally has been happy to share his home with another young greyhound and they have had lots of play time together and gotten on quite well. His antics and zoomies may not be appreciated by all dogs in the home and he is a bit too bouncy and energetic for a home with small children.
Wally hasn’t had the chance to be home alone very much so may take time to adjust. He would appreciate a home where his humans are home more often than not or there is another suitable dog to keep him company.
Unlike his namesake, it is always easy to spot our Wally in a crowd. You cant miss this handsome young boy with his beaming grin ready to give you a warm and enthusiastic greeting.
