Manny is relishing his new life as a cherished member of his foster family. He brightens up every day with his sunny nature and wide grin.
Manny is quickly and eagerly learning the basics of pet life. He is learning the boundaries and basic rules and wants to please. He knows a few instructions and how to communicate what he needs. He will always let you know when an urgent pat or cuddle is required or he needs to pop outside to attend to his business. He is an expressive and communicative boy. Manny does vocalise a little more than some hounds. He will have a chat and an opinion often during the day. Even his ears are expressive. This boy is in touch with his emotions.
Manny will also like to keep an eye on you most of the day, seeing what you are up to and hoping he can keep you company. You will never be lonely with this tall elegant companion. His warm brown eyes will assure you throughout the day that you are the most important part of his life.
Manny walks well on lead but you wont break out a sweat as he is curious and will like to say hello and solicit a cuddle from as many neighbours as possible. He is not phased by traffic or loud noises. He has been very good meeting other dogs on his walks too. Even staying calm when being barked at from behind fences. Manny likes his two walks per day but they don’t need to be long. He is just happy to spend some time with you. Manny also loves the car so is very happy to accompany you on errands or social visits.
Manny is in foster care with a young female greyhound. They get along very well and play together nicely. He understands that even though she is much smaller, she is definitely the boss. Ivy is also helping show him the joy of toys. This has been a revelation for him and he delights in new discoveries.
Manny is a very sociable family man. He would appreciate a home where his humans are home more often than not or there is a suitable hound to keep him company during the day.
Our Manny is a very gentle loving boy who will bring joy and laughter to your home every day.
No small dogs or cats
No children under six
No full time workers unless a mix of working from home. Ideally not to left home alone for more than fours hours on a regular basis.
